Dear Editor: So the District of North Vancouver mayor and council have approved the Seylynn Village development. We're now stuck with this ghastly, unimaginative homage to densification.

THE Supreme Court of Canada decision on whether a woman may wear a niqab (face veil) in court is not definitive, but it is - in the Canadian tradition - eminently fair.

Dear Editor: Beware Treo. Yes, the new Port Mann bridge is beautiful but it comes with a price. On our way to take our grandson to the Christmas tree farm we've been going to for 19 years, we crossed the new bridge on Dec. 9 in our old 1990 Jeep.
