SOME residents of the Seylynn area will no doubt be surprised in the near future when what could be a 32-storey tower springs up in their neighbourhood.

Dear Editor: The recently updated North Vancouver Bicycle Master Plan is indeed a good one, as mentioned in your Oct. 12 story, Cyclists Hope Bike Plan Will Get Action.

METRO mayors correctly, albeit not unanimously, stuck to their guns Thursday and voted not to increase property taxes across the region in order to raise $30 million in each of the next two years to plug a hole in the TransLink budget.

Dear Editor: Lynn Valley residents are very upset over the proposals to build highrises in the town centre.
