Dear Editor: I would like to take this opportunity to say how much I appreciate the road construction on Kirkstone Road in North Vancouver.

No one likes a double-dip. That applies to the chip bowl, an economic recession and municipal coffers.

Dear Editor: I am writing in response to your Aug. 19 story Into the Deep. I am a long-time resident of Lynn Valley and have enjoyed the majestic beauty of Lynn Headwaters, Lynn Canyon and Lynn Creek.

Dear Editor: I just wanted to send a note of appreciation for the Lynn Canyon Ecology Centre. Yesterday, I happened to observe the camp instructor, Kara, with a group of children including my daughter.

There is a much bigger issue that needs to be addressed at ICBC than bonuses and executive expense accounts: its surplus.
