Dear Editor: Let’s hug a tree today! (And I’m not a tree hugger.) Fall is here and leaves will “drift by the windows.” We buy leaf bags but when they are picked up they are taken away while containers are emptied and left for reuse.

If Advanced Education Minister Andrew Wilkinson is to be believed, implementing the eminently sensible strategy Capilano University students and their peers province-wide advance to tackle the critical lack of student housing would compromise B.C.

Dear Editor: It irks me to read yet another letter in the North Shore News bemoaning a supposedly irresponsible cyclist upsetting an apparently angelic motorist.

Dear Editor: Re: Joan Klucha’s columns, Sunday’s Pet page . Having lost my loyal companion of 13½ years myself only in February of this year, I cannot thank Joan enough for her heartfelt articles on caring for senior dogs and grieving your pet.
