Dear editor: The reactions in the North Shore News about the proposed North Shore B-Line are fascinating, but not helpful.

Democracy has many faces. Some of them are careful, respectful, inclusive, responsible, etc. Then there’s the new District of North Vancouver council, which so far, is a blunt instrument.

Dear Editor: I read with interest the letters that you have received from local residents, business owners and commuters regarding the proposed Marine-Main B-Line. It’s important for your readers to know that no final decisions have been made.

Dear Editor: Re: DNV Scraps Townhouses; Boffo Baffled, Dec. 14 news story. I would suggest that Boffo sell more of Edgemont Walk before deciding to build more townhouses. By my last count, only nine (of 24) units have sold.

Dear Editor: The headlines DNV Scraps Townhouses and DNV Rejects Delbrook Affordable Housing Project have local residents sharpening their pitchforks, without all the facts.

Turns out it’s not Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer that folks in the federal justice department are worried about. It’s everyone else whose rosy flush could indicate the taking of Christmas cheer in the form of something stronger than virgin eggnog.

Dear Editor: I am not in favour of the present description of the B-Line proposal for West Vancouver.

One of the most pivotal events in B.C. politics is going to take place early in the new year, and it will either weaken the stability of the NDP government or consolidate its grip on power.

Dear Editor: Re: DNV Scraps Townhouses; Boffo Baffled , Dec. 14 news story. Good again on District of North Vancouver council to put the brakes on the 1031-1045 Ridgewood Dr. development.
