Dear Editor: All we hear about these days is the usual ruckus coming from a few school teachers. I went to school in North Vancouver from 1947 to 1959. During the early years in elementary school, our class size was 40 to 44 students.

Dear Editor: Mayor Walton warns us if we don't accept more taxes for transit it could make life in the Lower Mainland quite miserable. Here's an idea: stop approving so many high density developments.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper may not realize it, but his government's decision to conditionally approve the Northern Gateway pipeline may be a huge gift to the very folks who are leading the charge against the pipeline ever being built.
