Dear Editor:
Trevor Lautens’ column is one of the main reasons I enjoy reading the North Shore News.
The Sept. 11 letter to the editor regarding the sailing club prompted me to write to let you know. Mr. Lautens is doing exactly what a great journalist should be doing – pin-pricking the powers-that-be. As a columnist, he is entitled to (and paid for) his opinions, which he conveys with wit, style and humour.
