Dear Editor: Christy Clark's promised referendum on TransLink funding is both undemocratic and inappropriate.There will be heated debate and misleading statements from all sides.

It would be impossible to find someone as universally revered as former South African president Nelson Mandela. With his death, the bright light of a moral titan has been dimmed. Mandela's legacy is vast and complex.

"Any remnants of the maritime history of that area seem to be disappearing fast and furiously.

This province used to have a welldeserved reputation for damaging labour disputes, but perhaps that will change if it hasn't already.
