On Wednesday October 5th, the 2011 Junior AA football season got underway at North Vancouvers Griffin Park as the Argyle Pipers hosted the Hugh Boyd Trojans.

On Thursday October 6th, the West Vancouver Highlanders opened their season at home as they hosted the Vancouver College Fighting Irish in junior AAA football league play.

On Saturday October 15th, Mens 1st Division rugby returned to North Vancouvers Klahanie Park as Burnaby Lake paid a call on Capilano RFC. Burnaby were undefeated and looking to stay that way. Capilano were 2-1 and 1 and were looking to climb.

On Friday October 7th, the 2011 Senior AA football season got underway at Windsor Secondary as the Windsor Dukes hosted the Handsworth Royals.

On the afternoon of Saturday October 15th, it was Mens Premier Division rugby at Beautiful Klahanie Park as Capilano RFC hosted Burnaby Lake. Burnaby were undefeated and in first place but Capilano were in second and could tie for first with a win.

On the afternoon of Friday October 14th, senior AA football came to North Vancouvers Handsworth Secondary as the Handsworth Royals hosted Nanaimos John Barsby Bulldogs.

On the night of Friday October 7th, New Westminsters Mercer Stadium was the setting for the senior AAA football season opener as the Carson Graham Eagles went on the road to face the New Westminster Hyaks.
