HIGH school grapplers threw down at the North Shore wrestling championships held Jan. 27 at Sentinel secondary.
In the senior boys division Carson Graham won the team competition with Windsor's Dallan Bhatti claiming most outstanding wrestler honours. Carson also took home top honours in the open girls division with their Chelena Horne taking the outstanding wrestler title. In juvenile boys (Grade 8-9) St. Thomas Aquinas fought to the team title with their James Sutherland earning top honours.
Next up for North Shore wrestlers will be the zone qualifiers starting at 1 p.m. on Feb. 10 at Balmoral. Qualifying wrestlers will then move in to the provincial championships Feb. 23-25 in Penticton.
