AFTER two gruelling days, rescuers were still searching Tuesday evening for a snowboarder who got stranded in treacherous terrain near Cypress Bowl when he veered out of bounds on the weekend.

After three days lost in near-whiteout conditions, a Vancouver snowboarder has been found alive in a snowy canyon north of Horseshoe Bay. Rescuers made contact with the 33-year-old at about 6 p.m.
