Convenience store robbed at knifepoint

North Vancouver RCMP officers are hunting two men who robbed a convenience store at knifepoint early Monday morning. The Mounties were called to the 7-11 store at Third Street and Chesterfield just before 4:30 a.m.

Mounties seek brawl witnesses

North Vancouver RCMP are looking for witnesses to a brawl that broke out in Lower Lonsdale last week after a car owner came forward to claim his vehicle had been victimized in the scuffle. The alleged donnybrook started just after 8 p.m.

Cypress mountain biking victim identified

The mountain biker who died from his injuries while on a trail in West Vancouver has been identified. Jonathan Tobias Pilley died May 7 from serious injuries while riding with friends on a trail known as The Coiler on Cypress Mountain.

Another NV rioter charged

ANOTHER North Shore resident has been charged in connection with last summer's Stanley Cup hockey riot. Charges of participating in a riot and break and enter were approved this week against 19-year-old Julian Eiers.
