Democracy on the North Shore was comparatively well served in 2014. Voter turnout stretched above 2011 levels but we need to do better.

The municipal election results in three key areas should cause alarm bells to ring in NDP circles, and celebration fireworks to go off in Green Party ones and perhaps among B.C. Liberals as well.

Dear Editor: There have recently been an abundance of No Dog signs all around our neighbourhood. At this time, there are signs around each property around our building.

Dear Editor It has been reported in the media that Germany has eliminated university fees in that country. That is our tax dollars at work. Instead of building our ferries here as was done in the past, the jobs were shipped to Germany.
