Dear Editor: Once again I am astounded at the wrist slapping sentences that continue to be handed down in our courts (Road Rage Bat Wielder Avoids Jail, North Shore News, Jan. 2).

WHEN news broke early Sunday morning that a tentative agreement had been reached between the millionaire-club players' association and the billionaire-club National Hockey League owners, local fan reaction was curiously muted.

Dear Editor: It was no surprise to me that TransLink would award the new SeaBus contract to an offshore shipyard, they always do the wrong thing.

Dear Editor: I think I have a solution for the parking problems for the Lions Gate Hospital employees. They should pay the same as our city staff. Oh, that's right their parking is free. Silly me! Duncan Dickinson North Vancouver

Dear Editor: I have looked at the development that is being proposed for the Lynn Valley Shopping Centre and I would like to point out that the artist renditions do not represent the reality of living with highrises in Lynn Valley.

AS British Columbians start to debate the future of our troubled ferry service, we would be well served as passengers, voters and taxpayers to come to grips with the implications of the decision we face.

Dear Editor: On Christmas Eve day, my roommate and I stopped in at a local veterinary hospital for a bag of special dental care food for our cat.
