Ethics versus the economy.

Dear Editor: The provincial government introduced paid parking for provincial parks and it was a disaster. This decision was later reversed because locals felt they were priced out of their own parks.

Dear Editor: Re: Pay Parking Debated for Busiest Parks , April 22 news story. Firstly, I’m an “older guy,” with limited income and admit that I don’t lend myself easily to change at this point in life.

The province’s minimum wage is going north this September, up 40 cents to $10.85 per hour with another bump to $11.25 per hour scheduled for 2017.

Dear Editor: I read the story ( Off-Duty North Vancouver Cops Repair Teens ‘Fence Bowling’ Damage, April 26 ) with great interest. It always amazes me how something so negative can turn into something positive.
