On the afternoon of Sunday April 7th, the rain couldnt dampen the spirits of the crowd that gathered at West Vancouvers Park Royal Shopping centre for the second annual Hockey Heroes Fundraising Shootout for Hollyburn Family Services.

Canuck alumni Jack McIlhargy and Harold Snepts were on hand to cheer the shooters and give them pointers as they tried to get as many pucks into the net as they could in 30 seconds.

But the most important point of the day was the fundraising for Hollyburn Family Services.

Total funds raised this year were $20,000

The 2013 Hockey Heroes Shootout, just one more reason the North Shore is the greatest place in the world to live.
