North Vancouver baseball player Rowan Wick was recently named to the 2013 Appalachian League Post-season All-Star team following his season with the rookie league Johnson City Cardinals of Johnson City, Tenn.
In 56 games this year the 20-year-old catcher/right fielder led the team in home runs with 10, was second in RBIs with 35 and was second in slugging percentage at .464. The Carson Graham grad was chosen in the ninth round of the 2012 MLB draft by the St. Louis Cardinals.
