Lenius helps Team B.C. to stunning football victory

CARSON Graham secondary football player Brayden Lenius helped Team B.C. score a pair of victories, including an impressive win over Team U.S.A., at the FBU International Games held last weekend in San Antonio, Texas

The big wide receiver and his B.C. teammates started the competition with a 49-14 blowout win over Team Europe before shocking the host U.S.A. team with a 38-18 win in the Alamodome.

Starting quarterback Liam O'Brien rushed for three touchdowns as the Canadians raced out to an early lead and cruised to victory over the favoured Americans.

Lenius, a Grade 11 student coming off of a strong season with Carson Graham, made an acrobatic catch for a touchdown in B.C.'s win over Team Europe.

North Vancouver's Bo Palmer was named to the GNAC second all-conference team following his final season with the Simon Fraser Clan football team. Palmer ended the season with 16 total touchdowns while finishing second in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference in all-purpose yards with an average of 121.5 yards per game. In 2012 Palmer was drafted by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
