School Program Docent: North Vancouver Museum and Archives is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to lead education programs for primary and intermediate students. As school program docent you will help students explore important topics to North Vancouver's past including the early logging industry, pioneer living, transportation and celebrated citizens who have made an impact on our community. By deciphering old photographs and discovering historic artifacts, docents will help inspire students to have a greater appreciation for the history of their community.

Creatures of the Night Volunteer: A volunteer is needed to help Stanley Park Ecology Society educate the public in a fun way about the mysterious night creatures of Stanley Park by assisting with Creatures of the Night walks during the Halloween Ghost Train. Email [email protected].

Sandwich Making Assistant: A volunteer is needed at West Vancouver Seniors' Activity Centre to help make sandwiches for the cafeteria. Various shifts are available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8: 15 to 10: 45 a.m. You can also substitute on Mondays or Fridays between 8: 15 and 10: 45 a.m. or Saturdays or Sundays between 9 and 11 a.m. A commitment of a minimum four months is required.

Access Services Program: A volunteer with West Vancouver Parks and Community Services is required to integrate participants with physical, mental or cultural challenges into social recreational programs. The volunteer will also assist the instructor with program delivery.

Maintenance Volunteer: Silver Harbour Seniors' Centre is seeking volunteers interested in helping the seniors' centre with small building maintenance tasks and repairs.
