A road crew is currently installing $150,000 worth of safety enhancements to the curving stretch of the Trans-Canada Highway just west of the Capilano River Bridge.
Roadside markings and LED arrows are designed to caution drivers as they head into the turn and reduce accidents at night and during bad weather.
"These enhancements should greatly increase driver awareness, making this stretch of highway safer for all of us who use it regularly," stated West Vancouver-Capilano MLA Ralph Sultan in a press release.
