Christmas at the Market Lonsdale Quay will host holiday story time, Santa photos and crafts Dec. 21 from noon to 3 p.m. at 123 Carrie Cates Court, North Vancouver. Funds raised from photos will be donated to Aunt Leah's Place.

Winter break can include learning

The winter holidays are getting close. Kids off school plus adults off work adds up to family time for learning new things and practising literacy skills together.

Gluten Free Food Collection Two Daughters Bakeshop in North Vancouver is collecting gluten-free grocery items to donate to the Harvest Project. Those who donate will be entered in a draw to win a $20 gift certificate to spend at the shop.
