This past weekend three North Shore senior boys basketball teams made their way to Langley Events Centre to compete in the annual BC Boys High School Championships.

All three teams made a strong effort, Argyle coming back with sixth place overall after four days of competing against the rest of best from British Columbia. The 3A team made it into the quarter finals but lost to Richmond’s A.R. MacNeill by 10 points. In the fight for fifth place they were beaten by Vancouver’s Sir Charles Tupper.

West Vancouver and Seycove both ended up on the consolation side after losing their opening games at the 4A and 2A levels, respectively. Both teams had two wins and two losses, both scoring victories in their final games. Seycove knocked off Brentwood College 75-66 to finish off their tournament while West Vancouver finished strong by defeating Kitsilano 80-66.
