Dear Editor: Like letter writer Lorne E. Dennis, I went to school in classes of 40-45. No special-needs students though. No one on medications or non-prescription drugs either.

Dear Editor: I am a teacher with 18 years of experience in teaching students in Grades 6 and 7. I am greatly offended by what Lorne E. Dennis had to say in his March 7 letter to the editor , Teachers Never Had It So Good.

Dear Editor: I wish to respond to the letter published March 7, Teachers Never Had It So Good. I am a senior high school English teacher with the North Vancouver school district and have 22 years teaching experience.

I must admit I have mixed emotions when it comes to telecommunications giant Telus. On the one hand, I pay them a lot of money. Every month. This modern age of home phones, office phones, cellphones, kids' cellphones . . .

Dear Editor: I totally agree with your March 11 Viewpoint. Pointless Gesture. Over the years I have asked myself why on earth Canada (and, yes, the United States) has a senate whose members, as you clearly point out, hardly deserve a paycheque.
