IT didn't take long in the election campaign for our major political parties to prove they are both capable of making foolish mistakes and policies, and that neither has a monopoly on good sense.

ADRIAN Dix and his party have been running ahead of the B.C. Liberals in the opinion polls for so long, that much of his election strategy has been merely to avoid errors - and therefore to avoid controversy.

ANOTHER April 20, another 4/20 rally in which recreational pot enthusiasts gather en masse, light up their doobies in defiance of the man, and let the world know they think marijuana should be legal, or at least decriminalized.

VOTERS now have less than four weeks to make up their minds about their ballot choices in the provincial election. That's not much time to actually pay attention to political news and find a rationale for an informed vote.
