Dear Editor: I opened up the North Shore News on Friday, June 3 to learn the latest victim of Trevor Lautens ’ verbal barbs, only to learn that I was one.

Summer arrives on the North Shore (and everywhere else) Monday, June 20. That’s when the sun gets as close to directly overhead Metro Vancouver as it’s going to get for another year. After that, winter is coming. So it’s a big deal.

At long last, the province has given the go-ahead for a rebuild of a seismically-sound Argyle secondary school.

Trust, in my opinion, is the most valuable business commodity and the first step in earning trust is to listen.
