Dear Editor: Re: Spirit of Kirkstone Park Could be Impacted by Rezoning , Feb. 22 Mailbox. There are two slivers of land which extend out from Kirkstone Park into potentially developable lands that are separate from the main part of the park.

Our place is haunted. It’s not very old, so the spectre that haunts it is a contemporary spook known as a collection agency. Ooo, scary.

Dear Editor: Is anybody else out there questioning mobility pricing? Does anyone else feel it robs our civil rights and our ability to travel freely whenever and wherever we want to go? Last time I checked I thought I lived in that kind of country.

Dear Editor: Re: WV to Ask Province for More Control Over Tax Policy , Feb. 21 news story.

The NDP’s first budget in 18 years included a 30-point action plan to make housing more affordable, but the budget document itself seems to indicate even the government does not expect much movement on housing prices any time soon.

Though most of the discussion over last week’s B.C. budget was focused on mansions and taxes, there was one line item we were pleased to see: $50 million for revitalization of Indigenous languages.

Dear Editor: Now for some good news! We have been blessed with wonderful generous and selfless neighbours. Clearing snow at this time is just not possible at this time of our lives, being in our late seventies.
