It’s that time of year again. The annual conversation on whether we should be getting rid of seasonal time change is once again a hot topic.

Dear editor: A public relations campaign spearheaded by West Coast Environmental Law has successfully prompted 16 community councils to send letters to the world’s 20 largest fossil fuel companies.

There is illogic, damned illogic, and the B-Line debate. Barring a dramatic U-turn, the express bus once bound to connect the North Shore will stop at Park Royal – well short of the original Dundarave terminus.

It looks like the inmates have reclaimed control of the asylum. That’s one takeaway from the collective decision by B.C.

Dear Editor: The West Van B-Line “debate” looks eerily similar to other examples where a loud, brash minority deploys misinformation and twists facts to drive their agenda.

Dear Editor: The single most effective solution to the traffic dilemma on the North Shore is to find ways to reduce single-occupant car traffic. The concerns expressed by residents on the proposed B-Line through Ambleside deserve attention.

Dear Editor: Critics of the North Shore B-Line claim that West Vancouver is fundamentally different from the rest of the region. They believe that B-Lines – which have had incredible success in other areas – do not belong in West Vancouver.

There’s been a lot of bus-talk on the North Shore as of late.

Dear editor: Well, here we go again - time to set the clocks forward for daylight time. Let the pro and con debate begin - there are strong arguments for each side.
