Dear Editor: What the heck is pickleball asked Andy Prest of the North Shore News July 22, 2020. I’ll tell you what it is Mr. Prest, as an 80-year-old+ senior and an avid tennis player: pickleball is a noisy, noisy, noisy, irritable, disturbing game.

Dear Editor, Re: “Olympic medallist’s sister pushing for Richmond recognition,” News, July 23. Great article and I learned so much about (Harry Jerome’s) connection to Richmond. We all see his statue in Stanley Park.

Dear Editor: The explosion in Beirut should be a wake up call about the risk of storing hazardous materials in the heart of an urban population.

I have a few concerns regarding the article dated July 28 discussing dogs ingesting drugs, via human waste, on North Shore trails . My main concern is that this article continues to spread misinformation about dealing with the problem.

Dear Editor: I was surprised, but initially pleased to find that my Bank of Montreal branch in Ambleside now mandates wearing of masks to enter the branch.
