Letter: Old-growth is essential to our supernatural British Columbia

The Fairy Creek controversy and logging old-growth rainforest doesn’t preserve the motto
 Old growth forest
Old-growth forests are extremely valuable, argues letter writer Byron Bona

Dear Editor:

The motto of British Columbia is Splendour Without Diminishment.

A price can’t be put on the environment and its invaluable ecosystems, biodiversity, and balanced sustainability.

Without these assets we no longer have a Supernatural B.C. The Fairy Creek controversy and logging old-growth rainforest doesn’t preserve the motto or the supernatural.
