NSN 50th

Harrison Taylor is pulling a wagon loaded with the North Shore News up a leafy tree-lined street. It’s a mix of heritage homes and older ranchers on tidy lots, interspersed with much bigger houses where the old ones got torn down.

It’s hard to tell of the beginning of the North Shore News without some embarrassment because the birth of this newspaper was made possible by my prior business failure. I can’t really explain it unless I tell the whole story.
