Handsworth claims first B.C. field hockey title

NORTH Vancouver's Robert Sacre will return home Saturday night as the centerpiece star of the Gonzaga Bulldogs for an NCAA preseason game against the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors at Rogers Arena.

TWO members of the West Vancouver Lawn Bowling Club met in the final of the 2011 Canadian Indoor Singles Championships held at Vancouver's Pacific Indoor Bowls Club Oct. 24-30 with Geoff Pershick walking away with the national title.

On the evening of Thursday November 10th, Burnaby Lake Park was the setting for 2011 Provincial Junior Varsity AAA Football Playoffs as the West Vancouver Highlanders took on the WJ Mouat Hawks.
