WHITECAPS soccer is coming to North Vancouver.

The Vancouver Whitecaps women will take on the Pali Blues from Los Angeles in a USL W-League regular season game this Sunday, June 24, at North Vancouver's Kinsmen Stadium.

The Whitecaps have taken their squad to locations around the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley this season with home games already held in Langley, Coquitlam, Chilliwack and Surrey. When they hit North Vancouver on Sunday they'll have their hands full - the Blues are the top team in the entire W-League with a perfect 7-0-0 record with 20 goals for and only two against. The Whitecaps are seventh in the Western Conference with a 1-3-2 record with six goals for and eight against.

North Vancouver's Jesse Symons is head coach for the Whitecaps, taking over the team before the start of the 2012 season.

Kickoff is noon Sunday at Kinsmen Stadium. Tickets, $12 for general admission, are available at www.whitecapsfc. com/tickets.
