Five North Shore players will suit up for the Pacific Steelers junior female hockey club for an exhibition matchup against China’s national women’s team Sunday starting at 7 p.m. at the Richmond Olympic Oval.
West Vancouver’s Tianna Lopes and North Vancouver’s Kiara Machry, Kaya Brossard, Sadie Parton, and Bea Lumme will hit the ice with the Vancouver-based Steelers, an elite team that plays in the Junior Women’s Hockey League, one of the top U19 leagues in the world.
