North Vancouver's Nina Jobst-Smith and Rebecca Clarke helped the BC Selects score a pair of big wins at international hockey tournaments held in the past month.
The Selects first won gold in the U14 division at the NAPS North American Prospects Showcase held May 7-10 in Chicago, beating the Chicago Young Americans in the final. The all-star squad then claimed first place in the Steveston Meltdown tournament held May 22-24 at UBC and the Richmond Olympic Oval. The Selects beat the Okanagan Allstars in the final.
Both Jobst-Smith and Clarke play for the North Shore Avalanche during the winter season.
