Forest Hills Little League romped through the District 5 11/12 championship tournament in July, winning the title at North Vancouver's Chris Zuehlke Memorial Park.
The team was perfect through the round-robin, scoring mercy rule victories in each game, and kept it up with a mercy rule win over Highlands in the semifinals.
They went on to defeat North Vancouver Central 8-1 in the championship game to book their spot in the provincial tournament held in Trail. It was the first district victory for Forest Hills since 2006.
