SEVERAL North Shore athletes qualified for the 2012 Western Canadian Gymnastics Championships scheduled for May 3-5 at the Langley Events Centre.
Representing North Vancouver's Flicka Gymnastics on the men's side is Samuel Braun while Jennifer Chew, Brianna Henshaw, Ayla Marji, Taylor Oakley, Ashley Obsieger and Sabrina Tsumara will compete in the women's event. North Vancouver's Sophie Ogburn, representing the Omega Gymnastics Academy, will also take part.
The Western Canadians follow the B.C. provincial championships being held this weekend at North Vancouver's Harry Jerome recreation centre, hosted by Flicka.
