Two North Vancouver boxers scored Canadian titles after winning their divisions at the WBC National Championships held last month in Mississauga, Ont.
Rosalia Calla claimed the women's 112-pound division with a unanimous decision win over Ontario's Melissa Laundry, while Leo Sammarelli won the men's 132-pound crown with a unanimous decision over Ontario's Montaj Dhaliwal. Calla and Sammarelli are both members of the North Burnaby Boxing Club.
