On April 27, the Edgemont Silverbellies squared off with the Edgemont Silverbacks in the Duffers Hockey League championship game at Canlan Ice Sports. The Silverbellies jumped out to an early 3-0 lead and coasted to a convincing 4-2 victory and earned not just a league title and trophy, but also bragging rights in Edgemont Village for the next year. This was the first year that the two Edgemont teams faced each other in the final.
