Nicholas Pearce of the Argyle Pipers finds some daylight in a 38-7 win over Rutland Friday at William Griffin. The win clinched first place in the AAA Pacific Division for the Pipers heading into the playoffs. They’ll go on the road to take on Kelowna in opening round play Saturday while second place Handsworth will also open the playoffs on the road against New Westminster Friday. At the AA level Carson Graham finished second in the Western Conference and will host Hugh Boyd in their playoff opener Friday at 3:15 p.m. The Windsor Dukes finished third and will take on Holy Cross Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Burnaby Lake.
