GLENEAGLES elementary students recently participated in a renaming celebration for their school. On May 17, Gleneagles officially added the First Nation's name Ch'áxa, a Squamish word representing a sound made by herring.

Bowen body ID'd as missing UBC student

THE man found last week on Bowen Island has been identified as a 19-year-old UBC engineering student who went missing last fall. Mitchell Gallivan was last seen Oct. 19, riding his bike in southwest Vancouver.
