WEST Vancouver police raided a marijuana grow-op in Eagle Harbour on the weekend, seizing 638 plants.
Police entered a home on Daffodil Drive at about 11: 30 a.m. Saturday with a search warrant to look for a hydro bypass.
Police said a bypass was discovered hidden in the wall. Hundreds of plants in various stages of growth were also seized.
A man who was in the house when police arrived was arrested.
David Boyer is expected to appear in court later this month.
Police have recommended charges of theft of electricity, production of marijuana and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
