AN emotional YouTube video asking for information was posted this week to mark the third anniversary of 17-year-old Jodi Henrickson's disappearance on Bowen Island.
The video - a slideshow of pictures of Henrickson growing up - is the latest attempt to get someone with knowledge of the case to come forward.
Henrickson disappeared on June 20, 2009 after attending a house party on Bowen Island. She was reportedly last seen on Bowen, with her ex-boyfriend Gavin Arnott, between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. that morning. The teen, who lived with her family in Squamish, had told her parents she was going camping at Cultus Lake, but went to the island to attend the party instead. She was reported missing four days later, when she didn't come home. Police have repeatedly said they think Henrickson met with foul play and never left the island.
Henrickson's friends and family marked the anniversary by sharing their memories of the teen and asking for information on a Facebook page dedicated to finding her.
"The time has come to solve this," wrote family friend Cindy Nadeau Blatny. "The person or people responsible, I know read this. Please bring peace to this family and do the right thing."
Both the Facebook and YouTube pages can be found under "Let's find Jodi Henrickson."
