The Festival of Lights will see approximately 24 boats from Burrard Yacht Club sail across Vancouver Harbour on Dec. 3, 2022

Two dozen boats will put on a dazzling performance to kick of the holiday season.

Similar to the False Creek ferry balletcarol ships, and Santa's Christmas Ships, approximately 24 boats from the Burrard Yacht Club will sail around Vancouver Harbour dressed up in Christmas lights for the club's annual Festival of Lights boat parade.

Last year the parade had only about 15 boats due to increased COVID-19 restrictions.

On Dec. 3 the boat parade will depart from Burrard Yacht Club at 6 p.m. and cruise over to Lonsdale Quay in a long, slow loop, docking at around 6:10 p.m. After a stop at the waterfront, the parade will continue across the water to Coal Harbour before returning to the yacht club.
