A mountain biker has reportedly been killed near West Vancouvers Cypress Bowl.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene just before 2 p.m. Monday when someone called to report an accident on Coiler trail about a kilometre from the fourth switchback of Cypress Bowl Road.
The middle-aged victim had apparently been riding the winding path when he was severely injured.
Police, fire and ambulance crews hiked into the area on foot. The man died at the scene.
No name or cause of death has been released. The incident is under investigation.
