This camp is for the birds (and gerbils, cats and dogs)

ARE your two-legged darlings getting restless now that the school-year schedule is well in the past? There is still some room available in the BC SPCA summer day-camps, held at various locations throughout British Columbia, including West Vancouver.

ARE your two-legged darlings getting restless now that the school-year schedule is well in the past?

There is still some room available in the BC SPCA summer day-camps, held at various locations throughout British Columbia, including West Vancouver.

During the week, campers are immersed in animal-themed activities and are challenged in fun and engaging ways to learn about responsible animal care, animal facts and to develop positive, respectful relationships between people, animals and nature.

The activities each day range from active field games to quiet hands-on projects and include games, crafts, skits, guest speakers and everyone's favourite part of summer camp- spending time with the animals! For one hour each day, children will have the chance to interact with some of the friendliest cats and small animals at the shelter, as well as some lovable dogs belonging to BC SPCA staff members.

All the activities have been designed by the BC SPCA to incorporate positive animal welfare themes. Children leave feeling inspired to be ambassadors for animals in their community.
