The City of North Vancouver, in partnership with Twilight Markets, hosted the annual Christmas Festival at Shipbuilders' Square Dec. 6. Festivities included a tree lighting, a visit from Santa, live music and entertainment, ornament-and lantern-making, gingerbread decorating, a Christmas sing-along, ice skating and Carol ships sailing past. Festival-goers also had an opportunity to browse the wares of the German-style Shipyards' Christmas Market, boasting 50 artisans in the Pipe Shop, along with food trucks.
