West Vancouver police are warning the public after an elderly man allegedly exposed himself to a teenager.
The 16-year-old was walking on 15th Street at Fulton Avenue around 4 p.m. Tuesday when the suspect drove by her slowly in heavy traffic with his pants down and touching his genitals.
The suspect reportedly then called out, “Want to join me?”
The teen didn’t respond and the suspect sped off southbound on 15th. The teen then called police.
Officers sent patrols to the area immediately but could not find the suspect vehicle and the victim did not get the licence plate number.
The victim described the suspect as being white, in his mid-60s or 70s, with short white hair that was slightly longer in the front. He also had a distinctive pot belly.
At the time, he was wearing a white short-sleeve t-shirt and white and green or blue plaid shorts. He was driving a newer model Honda or Toyota minivan, police say.
