North Vancouver RCMP are looking for a woman who disappeared from her home more than a week ago.

Elena Moise-Hanover, 36, was last seen by family members when they left her North Vancouver residence July 4 at about 10 a.m. She vanished while they were out, and left no indication as to where she had gone.

Moise-Hanover has made no contact with family or friends since, she has failed to show up to work, and there has been no activity on her cellphone or charge cards.

The absence is out of character, according to police, but at this point they dont suspect foul play.

We have no indication that there was any kind of criminal activity, said Sgt. Peter DeVries, a spokesman for the North Vancouver RCMP. (But) we share the familys concern.

Investigators are hoping the public may have information as to her whereabouts.

Moise-Hanover is Caucasian, five feet four inches tall, 170 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who has seen her is asked to contact the detachment at 604-985-1311.

A 15-year-old North Vancouver teen, reported missing last week, returned home safe and sound Thursday evening, according to police.
