Volunteers: Habitat for Humanity North Shore ReStore is located at 126 Harbour Ave. in North Vancouver. Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks. Call today for more information.

Driver: Harvest Project is looking for a volunteer driver to pick up donated food from donors and deliver food to clients.

Program mentor: The Junior Achievement Company Program facilitator volunteer will foster the entrepreneurial spirit of students and help them to understand the role of business in our society by creating an enterprise of their own. A three to four person volunteer team works with the students in an after-school setting.

Volunteers: Dishwashing volunteers are needed to support food services. Duties include bussing, scraping dishes, using a commercial dishwasher and restocking shelves with clean dishware.

Friendly walker: This volunteer position will help seniors go on local walks for approximately 30 minutes. Some residents, though very independent, feel more confident walking to do errands with a support person. The volunteer should arrive 15 minutes before departure to help gather any supplies and then would escort the senior to do errands. This would be within the neighbourhood of Lonsdale Avenue and 15th Street.
