North Vancouver RCMP are seeking information about a motorcycle crash that happened overnight between July 1 and 2, sending one man to hospital with serious injuries.
Police were alerted after neighbours in the area of Dempsey Road and Mountain Highway were woken up by the sounds of a crash around 2:30 a.m. Monday morning.
Police arrived to find ambulance paramedics tending to the 19-year-old North Vancouver motorcycle driver. The man reportedly drove his blue Suzuki motorcycle into a parked car on the street, said De Jong, adding police don’t know how fast the motorcycle was going when it hit the car.
The man was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries, said De Jong.
De Jong said police are investigating and are hoping to speak with anyone about information about the accident or events leading up to it.
Both the motorcycle and the car were damaged in the crash.
